ArtJob is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy covers ArtJob's treatment of personally identifiable and unidentifiable information that is collected when you are on the ArtJob site.

Typical of subscriber-based Web sites, ArtJob collects identifiable information on our users when they register and when they log on to the system. The only individually identifiable information we receive is information that is voluntarily given to us by the user. This information is necessary for us to bill our users and to utilize ArtJob services.

ArtJob automatically receives and records a visitor's Internet service provider, the domain name, the type of browser, the operating system, pages viewed, page was last on before entering the ArtJob site, and the amount time each visitor spends on the site. This information does not reveal a user's identity. The ArtJob staff record and analyze this data to improve our Web systems and to target our marketing efforts.

ArtJob offers an optional monthly listserv, DIRECTIONS, to our subscribers. If you have opted to subscribe to the ArtJob email list, you will be sent an informational email newsletter at least once a month. WESTAF will never sell or rent your information without your express permission. Furthermore, the usership of this list is suppressed to protect the subscriber list from being misused by a third party.

Information that you make public on our Web site--such as your resume, company profile, and job postings--will be available for our subscriber users only. No other information that you share with us will be sold or rented without your express permission. However, ArtJob will send personally identifiable information about you or your company if ArtJob or WESTAF is subpoenaed, under court order, or other legal process. WESTAF may also use information in our records to protect our customers, employees, or property from fraud, harassment or other types of unlawful service activities.

All personally identifiable information is transmitted from our users to our Web systems via a secure server. Your account information is accessible only through password protected areas on the site. No credit card information is kept on our Web systems following transactions between our usership and ArtJob. ArtJob and WESTAF require our employees to keep this information confidential.

If you make a formal request in writing to ArtJob, we will release your account information to a third party whom you indicate.

ArtJob may set and access ArtJob cookies on your computer. No other companies have access to ArtJob cookies.

ArtJob and WESTAF will update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If any significant changes are made, we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on the site.
